What Leaders Look Like

CLIENT: THE FAY SCHOOL

The Fay School is a private school in Houston with an emphasis on emotional intelligence and leadership training. The oldest students (fifth grade) even give guided tours of the campus to visiting parents and families interested in the school. After posing as a parent and participating in one of these tours, it was clear to me that the students themselves are the best way for the school to market itself — they’re truly precocious and phenomenal people!

I created “What Leaders Look Like” to help Fay become more well-known in the Houston area and beyond for its leadership focus. We installed a Smilebooth-brand photo booth in the school for students and teachers to be able to share their creativity, intelligence and collaborative abilities while creating a ton of highly pitch-able imagery. We also collected quotes from the students themselves. This made social media content and blogs a breeze for the Fay marketing team.

Swag and other photo booth props took a fun turn as well, focusing on “political” buttons, megaphones and podiums — all devices for making your voice heard and an impact on the world.

Students and teachers got to decide how to use the Smilebooth.

From acting out words in Spanish to showing off their Halloween costumes to commemorating visiting authors, the students and teachers at The Fay School were encouraged to get creative with the Smilebooth and all its technological capabilities.
