Stages Brand
CLIENT: STAGES THEATRE
Stages is an intimate Houston theatre with an activist bent, always looking to bring different angles of the human experience to its audiences.
I based this concept on the ritual of the lights going up and down in the theatre, and how that prepares us to connect to what’s happening on the stage in addition to our fellow audience members. I wrote the tagline, “People make theatre,” to highlight the actors and the attendees and what each brings to the experience.
The collateral is built around the idea of a neon purple logo that lights up in the dark. The pull tab is only visible in the light, but becomes invisible when the lights go down. The digital experiences introduce quotes and customized painted textures when the pull tab is clicked.
